December 31, 2009 To kickstart the new year, most people (I'm not spared) create new year resolution(s)for themselves. Some people say its better not to set resolutions as people tend to be demoralised when such new year resolutions are not fulfilled but no, ambitious little me is going to go ahead with creating new ones and lets take a little peek on how I've fared for this year.
On a personal note, I thought I only had one and I fulfilled it so I was pretty happy till I decided to search for what I wrote last year. Nevertheless I'm still happy with my achievement this year (:
Resolutions (outstanding and new) 1. (: Somewhat happy with this resolution (: 2. Complete my bike and vroom vroom overseas! Yay, the resolution that got me into a whirlwind. No overseas trip but its fine. I'm just really happy I did myself proud. (: 3. Learn to cook 10 dishes (incl yam paste and pumpkin soup from scratch!) Ya haha, totally didn't happen. 4. Save a minimum of 8k liquid cash and 11k liquid cash and realisable assets (ie bike!) Didn't happen either lol. 5. Donate blood I totally forgot 6. Take up something new and pretty unique (ie dance/golf) Not anything that I noticed. 7. Be able to speak cantonese fluently (or at lease evesdrop =x) Ther's definitely an improvement (: 8. Note 4 apart, spend 1k to revamp my style of dressing when and only when I reach 5k (Of course I am still an accountant so don't expect me to spend more than $50 per item unless it's damn attractive and looks like its worth more than it costs. Helpers anyone?) This is funny, it never happened and I don't think its ever gonna happen in the near future. 1. I'm constantly shopping throughout the year. 2. I'm gonna be a full fledged student so, I'm BROKE. Instead, the question I should be asking now is.. Any sponsors? =p 9. Exercise regularly...... =p For 2 weeks yes it did happen, after that I don't know what happened... Just but a dream? Lol. 10. Spend less on redundant items and stop thinking of wasting money like on $529 wallets because I don't need them. I don't need them. I don't need them. Well I got it in the end but hey, I'm still happy with my purchase and I'm no longer buying anymore wallets. That's good news right? Hee.
13hours left for 2009 and hello twenty-ten!

Lets start with a new set of resolutions shall we?
Resolutions 1. (: [this will always on the top of my resolution list] 2. Score well for my OBU and get a degree that everyone expects when I want to take a Masters. 3. Get my Masters after resolution no. 3 is fulfilled. 4. Focus on CFA exams in June and understand the nightmare that I signed up for which turned out more challenging than I expected it to be. (Refer below)
I know its gonna be a tough year ahead.
CFA - 6hrs of exam on the SAME DAY and 6books and 240qns. The thickest book being more than 671pages and the thinnest book being 300pages THICK (excluding the 3425345124 pages of glossary behind).
I wanted to add a picture but screw HP laptops. Nothing is working, its constantly breaking down. This is definitely going to be my last HP laptop purchase no matter how cheap unless they do something miraculously good to save their product. Good service, BAD product. Capital B for Bad, no I change my mind. Its all caps for the word BAD. Hell yeah.
